Worship

 

We start out in the sanctuary with the adults. It is there the children learn the presence of God and learn to worship by your example.  After worship we have our own worship with children's songs.

 

Lesson

 

Every Saturday we prepare a lesson to teach your child about the stories in the bible.  Currently we are using the Blitz curriculum by Hands On.  This includes listening to music, watching DVD's, and using a hands on way of learning things ie. experiments, acting things out and building things.

 

Craft

 

We implement the lesson by having a craft to teach them another hands on way of learning the Bible.

 

Prayer

 

We ask for prayer requests and pray before the service and after the service.  This helps them learn about the miracles God can perform. 

 

2.  Raise your hand to talk-only one person talks at a time.

 

3.  Respect the Property, Games, Supply Area, and your friends around you.

 

4.  Ask to go to the bathroom.

 

5.  Ask one of the leaders if you can leave the room.

 

6.  Absolutely NO children in the Children's Ministry room until Pastor Bruce dismisses them to the Children's area.  This is so nothing gets broken or damaged in any way.

 

7.  The television and DVD player are only to be operated by adults.

 

8.  We are not responsible for your children after 10:00pm.

 

9. No food in the Children's Ministry room.

 

Make sure your children are aware of the rules when you bring them to the children's ministry.  If these rules are not followed by your child they will be asked to sit with you in service.
